6′ 9″ Lawrence Fejokwu lands in Kansas

The 8th student/athlete on the Runhouse-Hoops Project has officially arrived in Wichita, Kansas. Lawrence Fejokwu will be prepping for college at one of the top programs in the country. This poised 6′ 9″ forward is ready for a big year and is willing to put in the work to ready himself for college.

We know Fejokwu is an excellent shot blocker and rebounder. He also has proven to be a very good low post player on the offensive side with a good array of moves and shots.

Reggie Agbeko, 6′ 7″ F, lands in New York

The Runhouse-Hoops Project team has produced another student onto US soil this week.  Reggie Agbeko will be attending a preparatory school in New York. Agbeko is the 8th student/athlete to arrive via our program in Ghana which is a joint effort between Runhouse and Cape Coast Hoops.

The 6′ 7″ small forward has already impressed his new coaches with his shooting ability and ball handling. Agbeko was one of the best forwards in Ghana this past year and is already preparing for the upcoming season with a regiment of conditioning drills and weight lifting. We look forward to seeing Reggie play this year and know he is in good hands with his support structure in Buffalo.

6′ 8″ Benjamin Bentil arrives at the Haverford School

It is with great pleasure that we announce the arrival of 6′ 8″ Benjamin Bentil of Ghana to the Haverford School this week. Benjamin is excited to be at the school and looks forward to making his mark not only on the court but in the classroom. The future looks bright for this youngster and we are excited to have him in the Runhouse-Hoops Prjoject.

6′ 8″ Air Odi lands in Florida

The Runhouse-Hoops team is pleased to announce that 6′ 8″ star forward Odi Onyeka has arrived in Sarasota, Florida and will be a member of Coach Reginald Bellamy’s State College of Florida’s junior college team this upcoming season. “Air Oidi” was one of the best players on Cape Coast Hoops team this past season averaging 25ppg and 14 rpg.  Having a wide range of skills enabled the very mobile player to play multiple positions (3/4/5).

Everyone involved is excited about seeing Oneyka play this season and he is already gaining interest from mid-majors.

The future looks bright for this youngster and we are excited to have him in the Runhouse-Hoops Prjoject. He is the 5th student to arrive with 4 more due in 2010.

The Runhouse-Hoops Project is a joint effort of Runhouse and Cape Coast Hoops that assists West Africans become student/athletes in the United States.  Cape Coast Hoops is managed by Claude Thompson.
